  1. Here is the World Championship games up to 1995.                
  2. Official  World Championship started in 1886, but I have included
  3. several matches which can be considered as "unofficial" championships.
  4. The conditions of the matches are reported in the wcc.memo, when known.
  5. For instance, 24 games means best result over a max. of 24 games; 6 wins
  6. means first to win 6 games. Lasker-Schlechter 1910 was only a 10 games match,
  7. although somebody thinks (wrongly) that Schechter had to win by two points in 
  8. order to win the title.
  9. I have some doubts if the Alekhine-Capablanca,1927 had to be considered draw
  10. at the score 5-5. Anybody can check?
  11. There are of cource missing games: from the tournaments in 1857 and 1862,
  12. the matches between 1866 and 1886.
  13. If you have the missing games, or the missing info, please.....
